The current most current FIA homologation for "Premium Helmets" is FIA 8859-2015, which is the less stringent of the FIA ​​approvals. It certifies helmets for use in motorsport with HANS/FHR (Front Head Restraint) use . This approval is one of the most widely used standards in the UK and Europe as HANS/FHR use is mandatory.
